How to choose the best white led for your task.
If you want to quickly cover ground looking for eye shine then the wider beams are a benefit, especially from a moving vehicle as the focused beam is larger allowing you to light up more with each sweep of the beam.
For Lamping from a moving vehicle or Running dog/lurcher use our new HP 30W+ Broad round led is ultimate LED.

"What's in the box"
Please note the alpha starts off as a bare hard cased lamp with the chosen coloured LED fitted @ £99.98 You can make this into a kit of your choice as outlined below.
Basic kit option will include a USB-C charger & 2x genuine capacity 5000mA 21700 batteries & a 18650 conversion tube.

**SINGLE & TRIPLE MODE SELECTION**
To toggle between SINGLE & TRIPLE mode, quickly half press/flash the on/off switch 3x with the lamp in the ON position.
In triple mode the mode memory function is activated by switching off the lamp for a couple of seconds in the required power mode.
Featuring an all new 50mm/67mm fast focus aspheric lens/head, this lamp has the ability to offer a wide flood light effect for short to medium ranges (very handy for picking up) and a pin point zoom for long range illumination.
The p i s t o l grip design offers supreme comfort in use (especially from vehicles as it gives a traditional lamp feel, yet will happily fit in a jacket pocket), the weight is distributed in your hand, not above it, making it very pointable and controllable.
The easy to focus head allows you to vary the width and range of your beam depending on conditions and locations. The new upgraded aluminum trigger switch makes it easy to control your power modes quickly and means you won't be fumbling for the end of a torch in the dark (it's always right by your trigger finger!)
The new 30W pill design is crafted from aluminium, featuring a substantial 20mm copper extra thick LED mounting pad . This design ensures excellent thermal transfer and superior performance during prolonged usage, with minimal light spill.
The aluminium construction means this lamp can withstand the harshest conditions of your shooting trips, unlike plastic lamps. Equipped with a new lineup of LEDs for class-leading performance, you can achieve perfect illumination levels with ease through the mode selection and head focus.
How far will the Alpha shine?
A long way, everyone's eyes are different as well as the optics/used/LED choice so its hard to determine down to a specific measurement.
Like a NM800 is rated at 800m but its just such a small amount of measure light it doesn't really count & the Alpha is much more powerful lamp.
We have chosen specific LEDS for each beam profile point that go further than any other lamps we have stocked .
For example most REDs are around 4-4.5Watts the one in the Alpha is 30W.
This the same for the white LEDs that we use, all are now 30W rather than the 4-5w in most other lamps.

KIT option includes a Dual bay USB powered 18650/27100 battery charger & USB lead, this plugs into 2amp+ phone charger/USB power suppply not PC or low amp USB supply) + 2x High capacity 5000MA 27100 cells + hard case.

First things first, brilliant communication. I'm using the lamp with a running dog, always on foot, never from a vehicle. I was going to go for the 20W medium beam because I want a bit of range but a sharp cut-off. Andy advised me to go for the 20W broad beam, I took his advice and it s perfect. Ordering was easy and the lamp was despatched very quickly by Royal Mail 24. The lamp is well packaged in a good quality case with room for the charger and spare battery. It has the appearance and feel of a quality item, it s well engineered and well finished. The 20W broad beam LED is incredible! It would be good for any lamp but for a lamp that fits in a jacket pocket it is ridiculous. It is actually brighter than my van s headlights! It adjusts, very quickly, from a soft broad beam to a tight, well defined spot. To be frank, I doubted the claimed 800m range I no longer doubt it - this lamp puts out a LOT of light. I am very seriously impressed and that s saying something. In use, it just works. It s got a bit of weight to it but not too much to carry in a pocket. The beam adjustment is easy and quick. The beam pattern is perfect. Good to see the 5500mAh 26650 battery being used, giving plenty of capacity even with the 20W LED pill fitted. I used it more than normal last night - it s new and I was playing! Didn t have to use the spare battery and we were out over 3 hours. To summarise, I can highly recommend Ludicrous Lumens, the Night Saber Alpha v2 and the 20W LED.

Just to say that I ve been using all sorts of lamps for use with dogs lamping rabbits for years, like most lampers I went for lightforce in recent years, but came across this one although slightly confused about ordering I contacted Andy with a couple of questions, this was quickly sorted. I have the warm white medium and narrow white beam. At the moment I m using the warm white beam, it s perfect, it s such a fantastic piece of kit. A lot better than any other lamp I ve used

I had some conversations with Andy about the lamps we use a Clulite 4000lm led with a amber filter and if the night sabre would be up to the job, he told me they used to use a 170 type lamp before and it is bettered by the alpha, I am usually underwhelmed by a lot of things you buy these days, but on receiving and getting out to use this kit I was more than pleased, I picked a red and green pill Both are supper Green is the one i like best, both are good past 600 yds, and the ability to get out of and move away from the vehicle to a better shooting spot with no cables is great. one battery of the larger type lasts more than 2.5 hrs with no loss of performance all in all very satisfied.

I bought the green led and it is amazing hardly any light spill and goes 600 yards easy on medium power. Very very well built lamp I went out and used it on half power for 4 hours in medium and high power and used hardly any battery power using the 5500 mah battery very well please with the device would highly recommend buying one better than a light force 170

This lamp straight up retired my striker 170. I wanted something to save lugging a battery pack & LF lamp around with the dogs, I should have done this years ago in hindsight. The lamp just screams quality & performs like nothing I have seen for the size & price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone running dogs or shooting.

I purchased this lamp on the recommendation of a good friend of mine & I have to say I am incredibly impressed so far. I have the "Narrow white" & the red emitter, they are both superb to say the least with a beam like I have never witnessed before.
