A brilliant conservation tool!

A brilliant conservation tool! Finally, a night vision device that works, without all the bells & whistles that the competition & marketing execs employ to ensnare you with. A device that enables me to see further & with more clarity than before, at higher magnification too. I use thermal to locate, & the Vulpine to identify. I can tell the difference between a leveret & a hare, at ranges up to 300 meters, important for me as I dont shoot Hares. I can easily identify the sex of a small deer, quickly & easily, a sweep round the fields, & I can count the ratio of does & hinds, bucks & stags even without antlers. I can even count the amount of hedgehogs on my land! Couple this with a first class service from Andy, who answered my many questions, & gave me the answers that I needed, because he uses this stuff himself. Couple this one with a Wraith V3 IR torch and you probably won't need to buy anything else, unless you get taken in by the hyperbole. Absolutely Superb!!! And I dont usually give recommendations.

Stated delivery from LL is 5-9 days. Mine was despatched on day 4, with delivery to N Ireland on day 5...excellent. The unit is a doddle to set up. Tried it tonight in a horrible drizzling rain (couldn't wait to try it!) and it's performance absolutely blew me away. I've used Pard 007 from they first became available and more recently the similar (and better imo) Oneleaf Commander NV100, but the Vulpine is different league. Yes, it's more expensive than the Pard and Oneleaf, but take my word for it, if you look through a Vulpine mk3, you'll have to have one. I'm not easily impressed, but the Vulpine has to be the best addon out there......I simply don't see how night vision can get much better than this. Great product and great service from Ludicrous Lumens. Thanks chaps......you've made an old (ish) man very happy!

Bought this on recommendation from a couple of friends .I was using a Pard before , I prefer add-ons so I can use my day scope for distance and then go straight to NV . Ordered on a Saturday morning and arrived on the Wednesday , with a couple of questions in-between which Andy answered straight away . After trying it on a Nightforce which didn't handle the IR, I've put it on a Hawke scope . The clarity is astounding ! Rabbits at 350 m can be clearly seen ,and further still . Mega impressed and pleased with my purchase . Quality product , efficient , helpful business. Thanks Andy .
Vulpine v3 and wraith ir

Having recently purchased a vulpine v3 and wraith ir as a upgrade from a pard 007a I can honestly say I'm very impressed the field of view and clarity are exceptional as is the distance you can see. The other thing that I'm really impressed with is the battery life after using it for about 4 hours with out turning it off it was still going strong I would highly recommend it anyone.ps I'm using a Nikko Stirling diamond lr 4-16x50 scope

Well I don't normally write reviews, but felt that the Vulpine mk3 was so brilliant that I had to! I received it a couple of weeks ago, and on someone's advice also bought the Wraith ir to go with it! It was very straight forward to first set up, and now is just a matter of fitting it to the back of the scope. Its, fitted to a hawke endurance scope. I've taken it out 3 times now and had 6 foxes! The image quality is simply amazing, and I've had the chance to look through a few different night vision devices. Nothing else compares! I've had the chance to watch rabbits at 550yds and a fox at close to 600yds and there was definitely no doubting what you were viewing! Once again, a great product, and something I can never see me needing to upgrade!
Brilliant bit of kit

I recently bought a mk3 to replace my Pard 007. All my questions (and there were many) were answered very quickly and helpfully by Ian. The mk3 is easy to set up, the battery lasts for ever and it s even surprisingly shock proof (some idiot , that shall remain nameless , accidentally dropped it from a 20ft high seat. Fortunately it survived!!). I tried it with a Black Sun Dark Engine 850nm and 940nm IR torch but the image quality wasn t up to much. I was disappointed to say the least. It was better than Pard but nothing like the videos I d seen. Spoke to Ian who asked which scope I was using etc and he recommended a Wraith torch to get better illumination. This duly came and I took the whole rig out for the first time last night. It was incredible, able to count the whiskers on a rabbit at 140y and spot and identify out to 300. The difference between the mk3 and Pard 007 is similar to the difference between a Ford Fiesta and a Ferrari. It really has to be seen to be believed. I also got the quick release torch mount which is well made, easy use and far simpler to adjust than previous mounts I ve had which rely on wind age and elevation screws. All in all a brilliant set up that will out last me and my shooting career.
Vulpine Mk3 the best add on
Kevin
Before I bought this I had a lot of questions to ask about the unit. These were answered promptly and concisely. The fact that I was able to contact the manufacturer and get answers is a marked difference between Andy and the NV add on competition. The customer service is one of the reasons I keep using Ludicrous Lumens for NV equipment. The order was placed on a Friday and the unit arrived on the following Tuesday. Having used it over 6 nights I can say it is without doubt the best digital NV addon out there. I have tried a number of the competion's devices and they don't come close for ease of use, set up and image quality.Provided you have a suitable scope and IR. It even runs a number of the tubed addons (gen 2 ) close and for a fraction of the cost too. I can see clearly to identify and shoot out to 400yds with a 20 year old Simmons Aetec Scope and Wraith Laser. Not that I do as all of my shots are taken within 200yds but with a focused IR bean the image definition at 400 yds is exceptional. More modern scopes could well be much better but I am more than satisfied with the performance with what I have. All this is no doubt backed up with the knowledge that should anything go wrong, Andy is not only contactable but will stand by his product and get it put right. I am guessing future upgrades will be catered for too. It is my Night Vision shooting device of choice now. If you want the best digital add on then get in touch with Andy and get the Vulpine bought
Why buy anything else ?

The Vulpine Mk3 for the price is a excellent bit of kit. I have been fortunate to have used 5000 Thermal night vision scopes and they have not enabled me to shoot more quarry. The Vulpine combined with the correct scope and IR gives excellent picture quality and shooting quarry at 200m plus safely with clear I.D is no problem. I am a professional pest control operative and use the Vulpine every week from Center fire to air rifle it is robust simple to use and the small size means your head placement on the stock is practically as normal when using just your scope. The only negative thing to say about the Vulpine is it is not water proof, but would you be out in the rain anyway ? If you like the idea of an add on and are not seduced by the slick advertising ,special offers and interest free payments for Thermal get a Vulpine you won't be disappointed.

After owning a longbow for a few years I took the plunge and got a mk3 must admit that if I had seen the mk3 first I would have had to question the serious difference in price the ease of set up pictures quality is superb would definitely take shoots further out with vulpine Customer service is excellent 5out of 5
Excellent bit of kit

I purchased the Vulpine MK3 about a month ago and I must say how impressed I am with it, very easy to use and set up. I paired it with a Delta titanium scope 4-24x50 HD to which it seems to be well suited. I am using a wicked light IR at present and I have also purchased the Wraith laser IR which ludicrous lumens recommend. For the money I think the Vulpine MK3 is unbeatable. I have found the company excellent to deal with. G. Jones
Vulpine V3 - Own The Night

What a piece of kit the V3 is! Mine is on a Sightron STAC 4-20x50 with MOA2 ret, illuminated with PBIR-X. The unit is very easy to mount and set up, thereafter it is easy to use in the dark. Takes a bit of practice to get the routine of V3-on, laser-on, acquire target, parallax adjust, beam adjust, confirm quarry, backstop, engage. I have stopped messing with power adjustment on scope and just leave it on x10, which saves a lot of faffing about when you have limited time. You could leave the V3 on but I always turn the laser off between engagements; I treat it like a weapon! Taken all manner of vermin from 25m to 350 m with .22-250. Some in great NV conditions some it scratchy conditions, V3 has performed flawlessly. Many thanks to Andy on an outstanding product and knowledge base.

Been using a Photon XT with doubler for 3 years with no problems and recently change to the Vulpine Mk 3 mounted on a Optisan EVX 5-20 50i scope after some advise from Andy. Can't believe how good it is I was watching a cat hunt a baby rabbit the other night at 450 yrds and bats at 180 yrds you could clearly see the folds in there wings. Amazing product Andy thank you...
great Night vison system

James M
Easy to set up on both 22-250 17hmr Very clear at long distance, fast on off switch which is also quiet on both mk3 and the wraith ir , which is much better than dragonfly for the mk3 vulpine Used lots of other image intensifying tubed night vision and I can honestly say for me as a gamekeeper, find the vulpine to be the best all round unit on the market at the moment . I have recommended it to other keepers and they have be blown away by this compared to other night vision. Also the gentleman at ludicrous lumens was fantastic with my questions. And the service was fast and professional. Can t rate it enough!!!!!!!!!!!!

"So I could spend half the day writing an in depth review of this product, sadly ther isnt the room to do it justice! The vulpine has allowed me to create the ultimate fox set up for both day and night that I required. its comfortable to use, easy to set up and performance is brilliant! Having used photon xt previously, I wish I had never bothered but sadly the vulpine wasn't available back then, fortunately it is now! If your a distance freak, this unit will allow you to see STUPID distances for an add on, Iâ ve tried it with the NM 800 ir, TR67 ir, PBir x, and even the tiny TR38 and all have given a minimum shootable distance of 200m at 8x mag. With the TR67 on its tightest spot I can happily watch rabbits at 400m on 20x mag and down at 8x mag you can just see, well, miles with it! As a commercial shepherd running 1600 lambing ewes I need my gear to perform and this does so in superb style. Customer service is excellent, and Andy is a great chap to deal with. Un biased with advice and info and clearly very good at what he knows! Iâ m using my vulpine with a 6.5-20x50 vortex viper and results are very very good. The parallax adjustment on this only goes down to 50yards and so out to around 45yards the image is ever so slightly milky but once at 50yards the clarity is superb all the way out to as far as you can see with it. In terms of value for money I know of nothing else offering this sort of performance for this price tag!! Brilliant product Andy, keep it up!"

I upgraded from the Mk1 to the V3. The difference is outstanding the clarity is truly superb like going from a B&W screen to HD. The new in line eye let s you use your rifle naturally. Ludicrous Lumens have done it again raising the bar. For the money I don t think there is anything better. Rep
so much better

So much better We purchased the Vulpine mk3 after trying to live with the WG007 pard for the last 6 months not having a lot of luck with our POI staying true plus various software issues. After having a a few chats with Andy from LL via email over the last two weeks he suggested the Vulpie mk3. Initially I was skeptical but after fitting it and seeing the clarity it made the 007 feel about a foot long in comparison. The image you see really is outstanding & FULL,the 007 never really filled the screen whereas the V3 view finder is like looking at a wide screen TV in comparison.

The add on is quick and easy to install once set up. Can be a little fiddly to focus (I made a tool to fit focus ring). The unit linked with a good Ir like a dragon fly a 300yd shot is no problem
